About:  The Santa Fe Springs Police Department is responsible for management of all law enforcement within the city except for jailing and dispatch.  The Department is staffed by both city personnel and officers of the Whittier Police Department.  The Department is divided into three law enforcement service areas with a dedicated sergeant and a team of officers for public safety.  They monitor crime trends, problem locations and quality of life issues in their respective areas.
