About:  The Monterey Park Police Department has 72 sworn officers and 46 civilian personnel.  They are supported by over 100 community volunteers through the police reserves, emergency communications, citizen patrol, explorer programs and other civilian volunteers.  The Department strives to provide the finest police service to the community.  They welcome the community's input and assistance through programs such as Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, Citizen Patrol and the Citizen's Academy.
