California Highway Patrol - Buttonwillow Office

Areas Served:  Interstate 5, State Route 46, State Route 58, State Route 43, State Route 119, State Route 33, Buttonwillow and Lost Hills.

About:  The Buttonwillow office was created to better support the Interstate 5 corridor and the western portion of Kern County.  They serve an area close to 3,200 square miles, which is approximately 20% of the Kern County roadways.  The area is diverse with flat desert to mountains.  People commute to the area for the oilfields on the west side of the county.
