About: Borrego Springs is an unincorporated area of northeast San Diego County. It is includes the 600,000 acre are of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park which attracts thousands of visitors a year. The area is a very popular area for four -wheel drive enthusiasts. The closes stoplight is 50 miles away. Borrego Springs is a quiet, slower paced community. The sheriff's department provides off-road enforcement, patrol, crime prevention, school resource officers, senior volunteer patrol and a community advisory group (CAG).
