About:  The Tehachapi Substation serves an area of approximately 572 square miles which is mostly small districts and propery owner associations.  Close to 20,000 residents receive their law enforcement services from the Tehachapi Substation.  The Sheriff's Station works closely withe the Tehachapi Police Department, Stallion Springs Police Department, Railroad Police, Bear Valley Police Department and the CHP.
