About: The mission of the Palm Springs Police Department is, "The men and women of the Palm Springs Police Department, empowered by and in partnership with the community, are dedicated to providing professional, ethical and courteous service to all." There are currently 93 sworn police officers. They provide public safety services, including patrol, investigations, traffic control, airport support and bicycle patrol. The department also provides dispatchers, a crime lab, animal control and Rangemaster.
