About: The SDSU Police Department handles approximately 45,000 incidents a year. They provide officers on foot, bicycles and patrol vehicles. They also have detectives, a K-9 unit, and a Special Operations Unit (SOU). The department handles parking enforcement for the entire campus. The officers pride themselves on the strength of their working relationships with the community. Their mission statement promotes a safe environment in a manner that is fair, transparent and respectful.
